As per the research findings, a normal human body contains a strong internal defense system known as the immune system. In reality, that system works towards protecting us against harmful bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms. And billions of foreign microbes residing inside our body provide support to our immune system by destroying harmful bacteria and viruses.

Despite our inner defense mechanism, many times bad viruses and bacteria invade cells inside our body. And they also grow enormously, causing serious harm to our bodies and lives.

At this modern time, with so many medical advancements, we can see so many incidences of epidemics or pandemics!

The best part is that the technological advancements of this time have facilitated so many instant measures to stop the spread. But there may be so many new viruses and bacteria, yet undiscovered, that may come out and erupt at any time.

Working to Enhance the Immunity:

Do you keep one hour every day for those exercises that help keep your internal system stronger, active, and intact?

As per the studies, daily yogasanas, pranayamas, acupressure, and meditation help maintain our immunity at a higher level. While doing yogasanas, we sit in different postures at different times. That helps stimulate the internal body parts, including the components of our immune system. Similarly, that facilitates better blood circulation and also helps release different hormones in a balanced way. Rhythmic breath control during pranayamas does wonders for our body.

But here, let’s remember the important point. That is, whether you do those exercises once in a blue moon or just as a formality, Or with real zeal. That matters a lot in making the difference.

We can also try these:

In the morning, do you start your day with a glass of warm water after adding a pinch of baking soda? The research finding is that backing soda helps internal cleansing of the body as well as keeping the body alkaline.

Throughout the day, do you take warm water every time you feel thirsty?

Do you gargle your mouth daily with salty, warm water?

Do you clean your nostrils daily with salty, warm water?

Now, ask yourself these questions and take action:

Am I aware of which foods will help keep the good microbes in my body active?

Am I habitually taking probiotics regularly, as they help maintain a sufficient number of friendly bacteria in the body?

Do I take prebiotics regularly so that the friendly bacteria can get good nourishment and play better supportive roles?

Have I restricted the intake of those items, which may cause harm to my friendly microbes and the protective mucus?

Have I reduced my intake of sugars, especially artificial sweeteners, to the minimum possible levels? In other words, have I totally restricted glucose, as that is a favorite of the bad viruses and bacteria? And also, are the artificial sweeteners harmful to the good microbes?

Do I regularly take natural foods with anti-oxidant, anti-viral, and anti-bacterial properties? In other words, have I stopped taking in highly processed and fried food items?

Do I take a sunbath daily for 15-20 minutes?

And do I do clapping daily for some time?

Do I meditate daily, for some time, without fail?

In Conclusion:

maintain the inner immunity ever active and stronger

Our everyday’s efforts to keep the internal immunity active and stronger are a strategy to keep us ever-ready to win over harmful viruses, bacteria, and other harmful microbes today and every day.

Now is the time to re-think and act on our immune system.
